Window & Pattern: Digital SAT, 2h14m total: Reading & Writing (64m) + Math (70m). Each section has two timed modules (adaptive). Scores: R&W 200–800 + Math 200–800 = 400–1600. Built-in graphing calculator in Bluebook; as of Aug 2025, CAS calculators are not allowed

Must-do topics (80/20)

Reading & Writing: main idea vs detail • inference • function/tone • vocabulary-in-context • sentence transitions • parallelism/modifiers/pronouns • punctuation (comma/colon/dash) • data-in-text (figures/tables).
Math: percent/ratio/mixture • linear & systems • quadratics & functions (graphs!) • inequalities/absolute value • exponents/logs • geometry & circles basics • statistics (mean/median, scatter, line of best fit).

Top traps (avoid)

  • R&W: picking answers that sound true but don’t answer the stem; extreme words; scope shifts.
  • Math: forgetting to flip inequalities on ×/÷ negative; extraneous roots; mixing % change with percentage-points; unit slips.
  • Adaptive blindspots: panic after a tough module—each module resets focus; don’t chase every guess.

Time split (by section)

  • R&W (2×32m): 60–75 s/item feel; harvest short items, then denser passages; keep 2–3 min end buffer.
  • Math (2×35m): quick wins first (arithmetic/linear) → functions/graphs → wordy stats/geo; convert units once.

Last-48h checklist

  • R&W: 4 timed passages; 1-line Main Idea + cite lines for the 3 hardest Qs.
  • Math: 40 mixed (percent/ratio/lin/sys/quad/func); 2 graph sets; re-do every miss with a why-wrong note.
  • Formula ring (1 page): quad formula & discriminant • slope/intercept forms • exponent/log rules (never log⁡(a+b)=log⁡a+log⁡b\log(a+b)=\log a + \log blog(a+b)=loga+logb) • common geometry areas • stats quickies.
  • Drill Bluebook-style calculator moves: table/graph intercepts, quick regressions (if needed).

Quick frames

  • TAUSL for figures: Title • Axes • Units • Scale • Legend.
  • Back-solve / pick numbers for ratio/mixture and some equation items.
  • Inequalities: write the sign step; flip on multiplying/dividing by a negative.
  • R&W map: (Intro → Evidence → Counter → Close). Choose broad, balanced main-idea options.

Speed tactics

  • Two-pass inside each module: harvest → revisit.
  • If stuck @ ~70–90 s, mark & move; protect later items (adaptive).
  • For functions/graphs: read what the axis represents before computing.
  • Use bounds to kill implausible answer choices fast.

Exam-day mini-plan

  • 3-min warm-up: 2 grammar fixes + 1 ratio + 1 graph read.
  • R&W: start with a medium passage; leave the densest for last.
  • Math: bank linear/percent first; then functions/graphs; leave geometry/stat fiddly ones last.

Final minute each module: re-scan any EXCEPT/NOT stems; unit/tone audit.
