Why do you want to work for target? I am interested in working for Target because I have never had a bad shopping experience in any of their stores. The Team members are always kind and helpful and the stores are generally well organizaed and well clean. For example, when i lived in honolulu Hawaii, the high school i went to was Redford high school. there was a k mart down the street equal distance from the school. But since target was cleaner, friendlier, and overall a better environment me and my friends would choose to go to target over k mart all the time. In particular the food court. The pleasant service and quality food was a big factor that set targets high values and is different from other discount retailers stores. I assume this is because of the companies high customer service standards, and since I also have very high customer service standards and have demonstrated them in my previous employers I believed that I would be a great fit for Target.
'Target is a company I've always admired, for more than all the awesome deals. Your outreach to the community has always made me want to be a part of your team.
The environment and work place. When Ms. Wolter was describing target it caught my eye because it was different than other companies. i could see the passion and enthusiam that inspired me to work for target.
What does customer service mean to you? 'With so much competition for a customer's business, customer service to me is doing what it takes to get the customer back in the door. I am fully aware of just how much good customer service can make someone's day and in my past experience I have always done what I can to ensure the customer leaves with a good experience. '
Coming from Hawaii. credit card bounced. Cashier helped us move to the side clear everything up big purchase. great quality service. have never had the same at wall mart.
With my previous job at fat burger, High quality service was one of our highest standards. Dealing with customers with a smile on your face makes, the difference. Me remembering toms order, made a connection, was happy and would always return for business.
On average, loyal customers are worth up to 10 times as much as their first purchase.
It takes 12 positive experiences to make up for one unresolved negative experience.
How would you handle a customer who is upset? Fist off to be calm and relaxed, with a smile on your face.
In my experience many customers want to make sure that they are being heard and that something is being done to correct what has them upset. I do my best to really understand the issue and then do everything in my power and authority to correct the problem, with a smile on my face. I know firsthand how frustrating it can be when someone isn't listening to you or does what you ask with a scowl and I make sure to avoid that. If it's something that I can't correct, or if the customer still isn't satisfied, I will get management involved to use their authority to fix.'
