The General Curriculum exam is a subtest requirement of the Massachusetts Tests for Educator Licensure (MTEL) program. The General Curriculum test consists of two subtests, Mathematics and Multi-subject. The Mathematics subtest consists of 45 multiple-choice questions and one open response assignment. The Multi-subject subtest consists of 55 multiple-choice questions and one open response assignment. You must pass both subtests with a score of at least 240 to pass the General Curriculum test.
